Bianca Bernier knew early on from childhood that creating art was her passion. The primal need for expression through the visual arts continued throughout her life, prompting the desire for further development by attending a month-long summer arts intensive at Moore College of Art & Design during high school. Born, raised, and still living in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Bianca earned her BFA in painting from Kutztown University in 2010 and was awarded the Karen L. Anderson Memorial Award for Excellence upon graduation. Currently working out of her home, Bianca is continuously exploring and exploiting her imagination through painting and drawing, using her love of nature and other hobbies such as hiking, rock climbing and yoga as inspiration.

In the last couple of years my body of work is transitioning to combining my surrealist style of ambiguous, sensual shapes and expressive application that emerge from my subconscious and automatist process with real places I have had the privilege of visiting, both local and through travel.
