Edward Woltemate, Jr.

Edward (Eddie) Woltemate, Jr. was born the magical date of 4/4/44. He has been deaf since birth and went to two main schools--Pennsylvania School for The Deaf in Philadelphia and American School for the Deaf in Hartford, CT. He has been drawing since his early teens and has always loved science fiction. He has created a galaxy of his own devise with twelve planets, drawing them repeatedly from different perspectives. His pieces tell a story including alien descriptions, planet temperatures and other topography. His later art is acrylic and tells the story of his traveling escapades.

I am an outsider, visionary (self-taught) artist. I sometimes paint pictures of my travels with my wife. This is a painting of Nassau, Bahamas, where we visited a few years ago.
