I am a multidisciplinary artist working across both acrylics and ink. Though contrasting in appearance, both of my art styles are complimentary of each other in the fact they both represent a certain side to life.

My acrylic paintings are colorfully vibrant with the open display of emotions often being the theme for most of my pieces. A common subject I paint are whimsical mushrooms with expressive faces. These subjects are a reminder to embrace both the comfortable and uncomfortable emotions that come with life's experiences. In contrast, my ink drawings are bold and mysterious - a representation of the unknown. I exclusively draw mermaids when working with ink.

When I'm not in the studio, I spend a lot of time in nature finding inspiration in the world around me. Nature's beauty fills me with peace and creativity, and I bring that energy back into my art.

Crying Mushrooms

Crying Mushrooms started as an experimental piece where I aimed to capture the unpredictable beauty of a drift effect on the canvas. The mushrooms symbolize the uncomfortable emotions that arise from loss and grief. Just as mushrooms sprout in damp, shadowed places, these emotions can surface in unexpected ways.
