Georgeanne Smisko Zvodar is a mixed media intuitive abstract artist based in Pottstown, PA. Her process involves applying many layers of paint and material, as well as scratching back, creating texture and special areas for the viewer to explore. She is self-taught and first began exhibiting her work in the Fall of 2024.
She has exhibited in juried and community shows and her piece, “What Shape Are You In”, recently earned an Honorable Mention at the Meadowood Juried Art Show. Her hope is that in exploring her paintings and discovering new areas first unseen, you will discover hidden parts of yourself and that you leave her work feeling loved.

This is a glimpse into my personal experience on High St in Pottstown on 6.7.20 while joining several thousand others in protesting racial injustice in the days after the murder of George Floyd. I marched alongside my husband and son, proud that our community could unite peacefully and make our voices heard. Black Lives Matter.
