Julie Tonnessen

I have been a “maker of things” ever since I was young. I create handcrafted jewelry and work in the fiber arts (knitting, crochet, felting). I have recently begun to focus in on recycled art, creating beautiful, useful and interesting things from items other have discarded or view as useless. I love helping my students–of all ages–to look at these objects with a new eye.
