Call for Art: Masquerade
One Submission. Two Shows.
Anno Artem invites artists to submit work for MASQUERADE, a dual-format exhibition that explores concealment, transformation, identity, and spectacle. This fall, selected works will inhabit the gallery from October 24 – November 2, with a special selection to be shown during the Beaux-Arts Ball at Art Fusion on the evening of October 25th. Then Returning to Anno Artem for the remainder of the exhibition.
This is an exhibition exploring the aesthetics and psychology of masking, hiding, and concealment.
Whether literal or symbolic, glamorous or unsettling—masks allow us to become, to evade, to protect, to perform. This show is a space for transformation, contradiction, and the shifting boundaries between interior and exterior selves.
All media welcome, including painting, photography, sculpture, textile, performance documentation, and installation. Show us what you conceal. Or what you’ve been hiding.
One submission grants consideration for:
The gallery exhibition (October 24 – November 2)
The Beaux-Arts Ball spotlight installation (October 25 only)
Submission Guidelines:
Up to 3 works per submission
$30 submission fee
All accepted works must be exhibition-ready

Deadline to Apply: October 6th, 2025
Notification: October 10th, 2025
Exhibition Dates: October 24th - November 2nd
Opening Night: October 24th
Beaux-Arts Ball: October 25th
