Gun violence in the USA claimed the lives of 48,204 people in 2022 (CDC). Every single one of those lives mattered and deserves compassion. The purpose of this piece is to prompt a conversation about the violence woven into the fabric of our society within the viewer’s mind. We are the generation divided between violence and survival. Can we change this collectively as a society?
