Acrylic - “Scorched Again” is about fire and fear. Fear for the people affected by the devastating wildfires burning our forests and communities. On a personal level, fear for my family living in California where the fires rage every year. Painting the fire was a way of controlling that fear. It was a release of the tensions and emotions I was feeling as I watched the houses and forests being scorched yet again.
