Acrylic On Canvas - My work explores the quiet tension between structure and intuition. Through process-driven making, I am interested in how repetition, restraint, and subtle variation can hold emotional weight and invite sustained looking. I approach each piece as an accumulation of decisions—some deliberate, others responsive to the moment. Rather than aiming for resolution, I allow ambiguity to remain present, creating space for viewers to bring their own associations and interpretations. The work often reflects an attention to rhythm, balance, and the passage of time, revealing traces of both control and vulnerability. Materials and methods are central to my practice. I am drawn to processes that require patience and close observation, where small shifts become significant. These methods mirror my broader interest in how meaning is built gradually, through layers of experience rather than singular events. Ultimately, my work is an invitation to slow down. Whether physical or societal, boundaries exist keeping people where they are expected. My work directly confronts those invisible constraints. By employing saturated, unapologetic color, sweeping amorphic shapes, and raw, loose textures, the compositions shatter conventional expectations of beauty and traditional aesthetic principles. Instead of adhering to neat, predictable frameworks, my art creates a dynamic visual friction—a deliberate chaos that challenges the viewer to look past limitations and rethink what is acceptable, both on the canvas and beyond it.
